I've compiled a list of recent and classical books and novels about creating your reality, the mind-body-spirit connection, personality, learning and teaching, and how to co-create a prosperous and sustainable world for all.

There are lots of fascinating books on creating your reality by current authors. Here are some of those insightful writers and at least one of their titles:

- Deepak Chopra (Quantum Healing)
- Neale Donald Walsh (Conversations With God)
- Wayne Dyer (Real Magic/The Power of Intention)

- Michael J. Losier (Law of Attraction)
- Brandon Bays (The Journey® and The Journey for Kids)
- Lynne McTaggart (The Power of Intention)
- Gregg Braden (The Divine Matrix)
- Caroline Myss (Anatomy of the Spirit)

and, of course, the famous film and book about the Law of Attraction, The Secret, by Rhonda Burns and team,
and the brilliant quantum physics-based doco-movie and book, What the Bleep Do We Know?

Books specifically about the relationship between the mind, emotions and body:

- Louise Hay (You Can Heal Your Life)
- Annette Noontil (Your Body is the Barometer of Your Soul)
- Inna Segal (The Secret Language of Your Body)
- Catherine Ponder (The Healing Secrets of the Ages; Dynamic Laws of Healing)

Then there are the classics by authors such as

For more novels that explore these ideas

- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

- the Carlos Castenada books Don Juan
- the Sara Books (for children) by Jerry & Esther Hicks
- Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman (also available as a picture book)
- Alexandra's Dragonfire by Lesley and Ashley Fieger

You could also tackle the significant field of Neurolinguistic programming, which explains how we create our reality within the context of our own nervous system:

- Richard Bandler (Use Your Brain for a Change)
- John Grinder & Richard Bandler (The Structure of Magic)
- Tad James & Wyatt Woodsmall (Time Line Therapy and the Basis of Personality)

Also: Spiral Dynamics: Mastering Values, Leadership and Change by Don Beck and Chris Cowan (a development of the work of Clare Graves).

Books I've discovered more recently include

- Hunting For Power by Susan Oliver, who describes these principles from a shamanistic perspective,
- The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World by Carnelian Sage, a book that aims to reveal 'the missing secret behind the Law of Attraction'. It's a very small book that packs a punch.
- Think of an Elephant - Combining Science and Spirituality for a better life by Paul Bailey.

Other books I highly recommend, especially for parents and teachers, include

The Dance of Bullying - A breakthrough tool for teachers and parents,
and in relation to school/home education, books by
- John Taylor Gatto, twice awarded Teacher of the Year despite his unconventional approach! (Dumbing Us Down and Weapons of Mass Instruction and others)
- John Holt: How Children Fail and How Children Learn (and others)
- Dr Stephanie Burns: Great Lies We Live By
- The Element - How finding your passion changes everything by Ken Robinson.

Something that really inspires me is the possibility of consciously co-creating a magnificent world in which we care for each other and the earth and each create lives we love living. Looking after our delicate planet is part of the deal. Here are some books and sites that may well interest you if you share those values:

- Dr Peter Ellyard (Designing 2050 - sustainable pathways for prosperity on spaceship earth)
- If you're prepared to be challenged and have an open mind, explore

There are LOTS more wonderful books. If you'd like to suggest a book I should include, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
